Christian Louboutin
Say it like this: kris-chin loo-boo-tin (“tin” rhymes with the French word “vin”)
Christian Louboutin started his eponymous footwear line in 1991, and helped usher in the stiletto craze of the 1990s and 2000s. These days his shoes can be seen all over the red carpet, and celebs hoard them like gold bars. But all is not bright in Louboutin’s world; other designers and companies constantly try to mimic his trademark red sole. So note to self: Don’t paint your soles Pantone-18 Chinese Red or you just might get slapped with a lawsuit.
