1. Select a few pieces of hair that you want to leave out around your face, and then brush all of your hair up into a high ponytail at the crown of your head, says hairstylist Danielle Irene.



2. Wrap the elastic around the ponytail twice; on the third time, just pull your pony halfway through. Then twist the ends around the knot and pin them down into place.
