1. Apply a bit of styling mousse to the top of your hair for extra hold. Blow dry your hair using a round brush, focusing on smoothing out your bangs and the top half of your hair.



2. Once your hair is completely dry, use a 1-inch or 1 1/2-inch curling iron to curl your hair. Mix up the curls a bit — curl a few sections more tightly, and wrap other sections loosely around the iron.



3. Use a teasing comb to tease hair at the crown of your head for a good base. Then take that top section and twist it under for a boost of volume, using bobby pins to secure it.



4. Mist all over with lightweight hairspray to set the look.
