Gotta love summer. Filled with beach trips and parties … and now, your first summer job. And while lounging poolside all summer long can be a blast, there’s nothing like having a part-time job — you get to make some dough, meet new people and get serious about your possible future career.

Okay, enough with the pep talk. Once you’ve figured out where you’re working this summer, it’s time to put together the perfect outfit to wear to the daily grind. We know how hard that can be (especially if you’ve never worked in the environment before), so we’re here to help … fashion-wise.
We talked to fashion stylist Ashley Roberts and celebrity stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn and got their best tips when it comes to dressing for your summer job. They walked us through different “summer-y” techniques like layering and accessorizing, and they even gave us great examples of what to wear and what to avoid when heading into specific types of jobs.
