Um, how excited are you for spring break 2011? A little excited? Pretty excited? Ridiculously, over-the-top, can’t freakin’ contain yourself excited? (I guess it might somewhat depend on what your spring break plans are.)
Whether you’ll be jetting off to an exotic beach vacay or chilling at home in your (hopefully air-conditioned) basement, at least it’s a break, right? And no matter where you’re going or what you’re doing, you’ll want to have the hottest spring fashion, naturally. That’s why we asked fashion consultant and stylist Ashley Roberts and stylist Katharine Polk for advice.

The two of them broke down their top “dos and don’ts” for spring break fashion trends. Follow their advice and you’ll look like a hot, chic spring break fashionista. Ignore their advice and … well, you’ll be a shoe-in for a podium spot at MTV’s spring break party (a.k.a. a hot trashy mess).
Now, wearing the right bathing suit or the cutest spring dresses might not seem like a big deal to you. After all, what happens in Vegas/Cabo/Fort Lauderdale/Scranton stays there, right? Yeah, not so much when you’ve got your girlfriends snapping photos and instantly sharing them on Facebook and Twitter (those don’t go away, even if you untag yourself). Sooo, seems like a good idea to be prepared with a suitcase full of photo-worthy spring break fashion. Don’t worry, that’s why we’re here.
