Jennifer proves it's ok to break the rules.

Ever hear or see the "rule" that you must never wear eyeshadow that's the same color as your eyes? Well, Jennifer proves that rules are made to be broken -- if you do it right.

You can also find tips on other celebrities in our Celebrity Looks Gallery or give yourself a celebrity virtual makeover on your own digital photo with BeautyRiot's Instant Makeover.

FACE
Foundation / Concealer After moisturizing, apply a light, sheer or dewey formula foundation to even out your skin tone. Then, apply concealer to the inner corners of the eyes and underneath to cover dark circles. You should also apply concealer to the eyelid for a base foundation before applying shadow.

After you apply your blush, use a large powder brush to lightly dust on a matching powder to set makeup. You don't want to see the powder, however, so use very little, tapping the brush several times before touching the face with it. Instead of brushing down, roll the brush across face for lighter coverage.
Blush Use a peachy or tawny blush, whichever compliments your skin tone and eye color best.

You should apply your blush in the style that best suits your face. Round faces look better with blush applied to the apple of the cheek, while narrower faces can take blush on the cheekbone.
EYES
Eyelid Apply a very light tint, pearly shade from the same color family as the color of your eyes on just the lid.
Crease Apply a sheer, pearly, light taupe or fawn shade in the crease from corner to corner. Blend very well.
Hilite Use a pearly, light-tinted neutral shade sparingly on the brow bone.
Eyeliner Choose a medium or dark brown. You can apply powder with a wet brush for more precision. Apply the color to the top lash line, from corner to corner. Use a light touch and get the color in between the lashes - sometimes this is easier if you apply from the under side of the lashes instead of from the top side. Repeat on the lower lashline. Finally, trace the inner corner for a professional look.
Brows Use a brow wax, with a small brush to shape and fill in, or a sharp pencil. Start by defining the arch and then fill in the rest as necessary.
Mascara Curl lashes and coat two or three times with a black, thickening mascara.

LIPS
To get your lips this fab, try brushing them very gently with an old, soft toothbrush. Then apply petroleum jelly and allow it to soak in for 30 or more minutes.

Apply a terra cotta or nude lipstick.

Top with a clear gloss.
