FACE |
| Foundation / Concealer
First and foremost, concealer, concealer, concealer! Use a flat brush to apply concealer under eyes, on lids, and between eyes to even out color. Don't forget to apply on top of any blemishes or ruddy parts of your complexion. Use a sponge to apply foundation, blending into concealer. Apply foundation, lightly, to entire face, but use the sponge to blend into skin, especially at neck. Foundation should blend with your skin, not look like it's sitting on top of your face!
| Blush |
Set foundation with powder, applied with a large brush of powder puff. Use a large brush to apply a pink or rose blush to outer apples of cheeks and along cheekbones, back toward hairline.
| EYES |
| Eyelid | To recreate Christina's sparkling eyes, try using a mauve shadow on the entire lid. Apply a sparkling gold or bronze shadow to the lid, on top of the mauve.
| Crease |
Apply the same mauve shadow as used on the lid. Apply generously, blending close the eyebrow but avoiding the hilite under the arch of the brow. |
| Hilite |
Hilite just under the brows using a lighter, matte or pearly gold.
| Eyeliner |
Try using a fat pencil in either a plum or deep purple
with a little bit of sparkle. Line the entire upper and lower lids. Apply a plum or deep purple shadow under the lower lash line with a small round brush. Take care to get liner and shadow up into the lashline as much as possible. If you're up for the full superstar effect, add black liner to the upper lash line. This is not for the meek!
Add a little sparkle to your look with a fine-textured pink or gold body glitter.
One of the easiest ways to apply body glitter is to dip your
fingertips into the glitter, close your eyes, and move finger tips
together above your eyes and cheeks, letting excess glitter fall on
your face.
Brows |
Define brows with a powder slightly darker than your hair color. Try defining only the arch, expanding from there as necessary.
If your brows are dark and full, make sure they are well-groomed and just add a touch of gel to keep them in place.
Mascara |
Use two or more coats of black mascara. Curling your lashes beforehand will create a bright-eyed effect. |
LIPS |
To recreate Christina's three-toned lips, try lining lips first with a pinky brown or nude pencil. Apply a matte pink lipstick and cover with a bronze or gold, sparkling gloss.
