FACE |
|
|
| Foundation / concealer
|
This is a fresh, clean look, that hilites the skin and glossy lips, so
apply your concealer and foundation sparingly. Use concealer under the eyes and in the inner corners to minimize dark
circles. Use a yellow-based shade.
Try a liquid foundation without powder. If you must use powder, use it sparingly as it will dull the fresh-faced effect.
Use a sponge to apply foundation over concealer and to any areas of uneveness. Use the clean side of the sponge to blend, blend, blend. |
| Blush |
Blush the apples of the cheeks with a pink or peach shade, whichever looks more natural on you. A cream, stick or gel formula will help maintain the clean, natural face. Blend well (it's always about blending). Feel free to add small touches to the nose, chin and forehead -- but keep it subtle. |
| EYES |
|
|
| Eyelid |
Use a light, pearly lilac shade on the entire lid, from lashline to the crease. Apply generously along the lower lashline, as well. If desired, try a touch in the inner corner of the eyes. |
| Crease |
In the crease of the eye, apply a light amount of a pearly taupe or light brown for definition. Alternatively, you can use a darker version of lilac. |
| Hilite |
Use a pearly pale lilac or pink along the brow bone. |
| Eyeliner |
Select a matte taupe or brown pencil or powder. Find the shade that gives a natural look but still lends definition to the eyes, depending upon your coloring.
Apply a thin line across the entire top lash line, making sure to get the color in between the lashes. Apply liner on the lower lashline from the outer corner to just a little less than half way across.
Blend well to keep a soft look. |
Brows |
A key to a fresh-face is well-defined brows to create a frame. If your eyebrows are light, define them with brown pencil or powder. Try defining only the arch.
If your brows are dark, make sure they are well-groomed and just add a touch of gel to keep them in place.
|
Mascara |
Use brown or a black-brown. You can actually apply a couple of coats or more to open up your eyes. Curl your lashes beforehand if you are particularly concerned with keeping the eyes big. |
LIPS |
|
|
|
Line with a melon or light berry shade. Fill with a matching lipstick. For lasting color you can blot lipstick with tissue, lightly and reapply. This can be done more than once, if desired. Add gloss or petroleum jelly over top. |
