| High impact is the name of the game for the queen of teen. If you're prepared to get a lot of attention, create your own impact: |
FACE |
|
|
| Foundation / concealer
|
This is actually a fairly simple look as far as Christina goes and fairly easy to recreate. Start with a concealer one shade lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply it in small dots under the eyes and in the inner socket between the bridge of your nose and inner corners of the eyes. Blend in with your fingers or a sponge. (It's also great for covering up blemishes.)
A powder foundation will easily blend in with concealer and smooth out the rest of your skin without looking heavy. And it allows you to save the step of applying powder. |
| Blush |
Apply a plum blush with a large rounded brush. Brush onto the apples of cheeks and a dab on the chin and forehead to give additional color. |
EYES |
|
|
| Eyelid |
Layers! To get your own version of Christina's sultry eyes, wet an eye shadow brush and dip into dark plum or purple shadow. Cover the entire lid. Now wet a liner brush and paint along the entire lower lashline so that the whole eye is encircled in plum. |
| Crease |
Fill the crease (eye sockets) with the same plum shadow as used on the lid. |
| Hilite |
Using a pearly light pink or shell on the entire browbone. |
| Eyeliner |
Line your eyes with a black liquid liner on both lashlines from corner to corner. Keep the line thin and close to the lashes, allowing the line to thicken in the area above the pupils on the upper lids. Liquid liner takes practice, so do a couple of rehearsals before going out in public.
Next, use a bright blue, pearly pencil. Create a ring around the outside of the black liner, right next to it (even overlapping). Blend to create a blue "halo." |
| Mascara |
A couple of coats of black mascara will suffice. Try not to overdo mascara with this look, since it isn't needed. |
| Brows |
If you're planning on plucking your brows as thin as Christina's, we *emplore* you to let a professional do it! Neaten and fill brows with a golden blonde tone pencil or powder. |
LIPS |
|
|
|
A two-tone approach will help you copy Christina's look. Try an orangey/peach liner and a pink lipstick. The contrast makes the pink "pop." |
